Maître Jules is a soft cow's milk cheese with a washed rind. It matures slowly, creating a flavour reminiscent of alpine dairies with notes of ripe fruit and cooked milk. It has a soft and lightly wet texture with a rich, tender and melting body. It has a dry herb aroma and a rich, intense, fruity flavour with an after taste of honey flowers. A creation of DuVillage's young cheesemakers. Pair with Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, red beer, or IPAs,  prosciutto, dried figs, country-style bread, or nut bread.
Product of Mont-Laurier, Quebec.
