Gruyère de Grotte is a special cave-aged Swiss Gruyère. Matured in limestone caves in the Swiss Alps for two years, the longer ripening period causes the cheese to develop a rustic, more robust flavour than traditional Gruyère. Flavours of sweet, nut, fruit, and even mushroom come to mind when talking about this cheese. Pair with champagne.
