Fromagerie Marie Kadé is a plant that makes Mediterranean specialty cheeses. They're a family business that has operated their plant for over 30 years. Fromagerie Marie Kadé began operations with artisanal production, but has managed to modernize over the years while maintaining its authenticity. They use 100% Canadian pasteurized milk to produce this unripened semi-firm cheese. Halloumi, or halloum as it's traditionally called, is a salted cheese. It is especially delicious when grilled in the oven or on the BBQ, cut into strips or placed on skewers with tomatoes. Product of Boisbriand, Quebec.
